BSA Scorpion adjustable modified S.S. piston head.
Adjustable BSA Scorpion piston head made in Stainless Steel for the BSA Scorpion air Pistol or the Buckaneer air rifle.
Easy fitting with a round nut with a hole in it so you can use a pin to hold the nut while you tighten the piston head. If you use the buffer then just put Locktite on the thread to stop it working loose. Don't overtighten the nut, as this would prevent the buffer from working.
Now comes with three different buffer washers of various thicknesses, (colour may vary and may have a slight cut out for more cushion effect)
Also includes three new different size O rings so you can select which one suits the actual bore of your gun. BSA cylinders vary on the inside diameter more than most Which is why we do this adjustable set.
The adjustable securing nut is easy to remove when required and will never come off when locative is used, unlike like some of the standard ones which can be difficult.
I have put added some photos showing how the piston buffer washer can disintigrate over time. And the standard spring and spring guide. Spring guide is just a rolled piece of tube and washer pushed over it.
Includes an A4 sheet with drawings and instructions.
If you increase the stroke then check power to make sure it does not exceed the power of your Country. The limit in the UK is 6ft lbs for pistols and 12ft lbs for rifles.
It is best to use our Heavy Duty Breech Seal with our parts as the standard one will normally leak when trying to handle the extra power.
Always check the power to make sure the gun does not exceed the limit of your limit, after changing any parts.
