Airsporter / Mercury piston head in Stainless Steel adds more weight (it weights 58 grams) added to piston. Fits later BSAs Airsporters with O ring head and all Mercury's. Comes with new Stainless Steel Pin and three new O rings of different sizes so you can select the correct one for the bore of your actual gun, More air Gives more cushioning and power. (We also advise the use of our Heavy Duty Breech Seal for the Mercury) with this mod, to give a stronger seal for the extra power. It is under the options when you order.
It coms with three different size O rings so you can select the right one for your gun and get the best fit, that is without it being too tight or too loose.
See instructions included. Maximum stroke is achieved without any buffer washers.

Always check the power to make sure the gun does not exceed your limit, after changing any parts.

This is not for the very early Mk 1 or 2 Airsporter that had a conical leather washer. I can do a PTFE washer conversion for the earlier Mk1 & 2 Airsporters that have a conical leather washer.
