NEW
Two way Adjustable Hammer made of Stainless Steel for the Rapid 7. STD Type. This makes the hammer adjustable for travel and engagement so you can adjust the lock-time and control the power easier with a faster lock time, this also helps when you have different strength hammer springs. Also includes a new steel inertia weight and Stainless Steel spring, also includes a steel spring guide that goes at the front for extra inertia, this replaces the the standard plastic one that is at the back.
The last two pictures shows the hammer from the standard early Rapids which this is the Two Way Adjustable one replaces.
This hammer has a locknut on the front adjuster, undoing the nut allows the centre screw to be wound in or out, thereby adjusting the hammer travel. The longer the travel the more inertia to knock the valve open. Do not hit too hard as it may bend the exhaust valve.
The second adjuster is the outer ring. When you have found the correct adjustment then you can just put a drop of lockthread to keep the adjustment.
