Note: The Spring guide is also counter bored for more travel, to compensate for the longer inertia weight.

The spring guide goes inside the hammer to give extra power. A set of four different hammer springs are also listed on this site.

I have seen a lot of Rapid 7s with the Inertia Weight and Spring the wrong way round. This will result in poor performance so make sure you put them in the right way round.

The inertia spring must be attatched to the weight, then the spring goes into the hammer first followed by the Spring Guide.
