SMK XS 78 Metal A Frame unique locking system for accuracy
Made in high grade Aluminium, this A Frame is for SMK XS 78 complete with allen head grub screws, these will not snap like the standard thin one, the standard A Frame on The XS 78 is made of PLASTIC with a very thin ground down bolt that snaps very easily, as soon as you try to make the A frame secure (needed for Accuracy). Natural Aluminium colour.
These do not need a groove on the underside like the Deluxe one.
I have made them to be a Direct replacement for the standard plastic one on the standard XS 78 but with a stronger locking system. These are for the standard XS 78 and not the QB/TH 78 Deluxe because the QB/TH 78 Deluxe has a thicker barrel of 15 mm and this A Frame for the XS has the top hole made to fit the standard one which is only 14 mm. I have put the A frames on this site now for the QB with the 15mm thicker barrel.
Unique stronger locking system for better accuracy, eliminates the flex and movement found on the standard narrower barrels supplied with std 78 models. 78 Deluxe & Thumb hole models have thicker barrels and metal A frames so don't suffer as bad as the Plastic one fitted to the XS.
